One of the early Alvarez Japan acoustics is copied after the legendary Martin D-18. Solid Spruce top with laminated Sapele Mahogany back and sides. Rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Here we have a beautiful C.F. Martin Acoustic Parlor guitar in excellent condition, especially considering the age (1890's). There is no serial number or pencil markings on the inside that I could find using a mirror. The only markings are 'C.F. Martin & Co. New York' on the headstock and inside the soundhole.
